Urbanna Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is a volunteer board consisting of five members. The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Town Council on rezoning cases, major subdivisions, and text amendments to the Town Zoning Ordinance. The Planning Commission does not make final decisions; they are an advisory board whose purpose is to make recommendations to the Town Council regarding land use decisions.

Commission terms are for four (4) years. Members must be Town residents. One member of the commission shall be a member of Town Council.

Meetings

First Wednesday of each month at 6pm, when there is business to be considered, at the same location where Town Council meetings are held.
