The Urbanna James Mills Scottish Factor Store
Museum & Visitor Center

The Museum and Visitor Center is located in a restored, 18th century Scottish Factor Store on a hill overlooking Urbanna Creek. Home to the Mitchell Map, considered the most important map in American history, a visit to the museum is a journey back into colonial America. Volunteers are on duty to answer questions and brochures, maps and souvenir gifts are available. If you’re interested in volunteering, or scheduling a group tour or event, please call the museum at 804-758-8181.
