Urbanna Town Council

The Town Council establishes and enforces our policies, codes and ordinances. They approve the budget, set our tax rates, make land use decisions and appoint citizens to our boards and commissions and other positions.

The Finance, Utilities, and Parks and Recreation Committees of the Town Council meet on an as-needed basis. The Council encourages its constituents to attend and participate in town government.

Meetings

Council holds a Regular meeting on the second Thursday of each month and a Work Session meeting on the fourth Thursday of each month.

Beginning in February 2026, Council meetings will be held in the Meeting Room of the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department 330 Virginia Street, Urbanna, Virginia
